Happy 2025--and thank you for visiting my profile.

Most of my photostream is restricted to friends and to groups. I’m generally happy to add new people provided

a) you are NOT a professional or a social acquaintance of mine

b) if you are, at least promise to be discrete and enjoy my pictures quietly. Don’t share them with work colleagues, confront me about them publicly or at work, or rant me out otherwise.

If you agree with these conditions feel free to send me a message with a note where you have seen my pictures (which group, for example).

I am NOT seeking reciprocity in terms of pictures--I'm more interested in getting feedback and comments.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

THIS PHOTOSTREAM CONTAINS NO AI :

All my pictures reflect real people--me and occasionally others--that were photographed in real settings. I'm not interested in or planning on ever employing any AI technologies in my pictures. To do so would undermine for me what photography is about.

About me:

My interest in photography covers a wide area, from architecture to art and the human body. On this page I am sharing my work on the topic of nude body photography. I'm trying to keep this world separate from my others, so please be discrete if you know my other work on art, architecture and landscapes, and please don't cross-reference my worlds.

I don’t have a professional background in photography, although aspects of my work involve semi-professional photography. While I have posed naked for other photographers in the past I have no formal training in doing nude photography myself—so this is a personal road of discovery of how I’d like to see myself naked in various settings. Please feel invited to join me on this journey, see my progress and occasional setbacks. And feel free to comment and leave feedback.

* models / modelling: while I have photographed others I have, over the past few years, developed a passion for nude selfie photography. Being my own model has many benefits (no salary negotiations, determining my own limits as to what topics to explore) but also imposes restrictions (not being behind the camera limits the amount of control you have over a picture. Nude selfies, by definitions are characterized by the beauty of imperfection. As such, I intend no competition with professional photographers (to whose work I look up)—I see it more as experimental companion work. My own body is definitely not perfect, but perfection isn't my order of the day. In a way, my average looks serve as an advantage since I do not mean to idealize but to create photography that is relatable.

• nakedness and nudism: while I’m not here to advocate nudism it’s no secret that I am a nudist at heart. I generally detest clothing and feel comfortable and at ease with myself when I am naked and barefoot. I'm no nudist activist though--I am much more an environmentalist. Nature is my sacred shrine--and to be respectful with it I will only to enter it naked, leaving all garbage of civilization behind.

It is important for me to be totally naked from my head to my toes. Being barefoot for me is an essential part of being naked. I need to touch the ground with my bare soles to feel truly naked. Almost all of my pictures will show all of me, therefore, from my head to my bare feet. Only when I leave behind all markers of civilization do I feel free, not enslaved.

About my photostream:

My main reason for being on this site is to contribute photographically to the topic of nudity, from a visual to an aesthetic point of view. I don't mind salacious comments and will play along if they are playfully entertaining. But I do get bored with (and eventually won't respond to) sexual comments to pictures that are not sexual at all. Personally I'm actually more interested in comments about my camera angle, lighting or body postures than comments about my penis or butt.

I'm no prude, and I don't believe that a nudist has to be asexual. As my photostream shows I definitely to take pictures of a sexually suggestive nature. Why not—let’s show our bodies from what we perceive to be our most appealing side. My borderline, however, is one of aestheticism and I will not cross that line.

All my pictures (except for my profile pic) are classified as restricted, even though some could be classified as moderate and one or two as safe. This is no error on my part, but to keep my worlds separate. Safe searches should find nothing in my profile.

• my equipment: most outdoors pictures are taken with my cell phones (initially with my iPhone 6S Plus, since October 2022 with my iPhone 14 Pro Max). Since I mostly stroll through nature totally naked with no gear at all it would be impractical to bring any more bulky equipment with me. Aside from a small portable tripod my only other accessory is a small Bluetooth remote release. Since June 2021 I have also used a GoPro Hero 9, notably for water-based photography. Since September 2021 I have mainly used my digital SLR (a Nikon 5300) for indoor nude photographs. The difference in quality (not only in resolution but in sharpness and lack of distortion) is apparent. I realize that I do look different SLR pictures as opposed to iPhone and GoPro, which have a tendency to lengthen my head and feet due to their respective wide angle settings.

• my image processing: I have access to the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite, so I run my pictures through Camera Raw to adjust their white balance and (in case of indoor settings), adjust color saturation and luminance and remove yellowish tints created by incandescent lights. For Phone and GoPro imagers I generally try to balance some of the peripheral distortions (which often make my head look too large) through Photoshop “transform” tools. Aside from cropping, which is necessitated by the fact that I have to leave bit of a generous margin when taking pictures somewhat blindly, I don't alter much--the options would be endless but the outcome might no longer look like me. I’m fine with enhancing pictures but want to stop short of manipulating them.

• AI: as I highlighted earlier on AI has become part of Flickr’s image repositories, for better or worse .... . Consider me old-fashioned but, while my cameras have long become digital, my models (mostly me) have been and will remain analog. And I am not planning to ever change that. In other words: I don't do AI generated images. What is in front of my camera exists for real, with all of its imperfections.

• my interactions / feedback: I love feedback to my pictures. Favoring pictures is great, but nothing beats leaving a comment as a personal touch. I will, inasmuch as I can, follow up on all of them up. I particularly love comments that pertain to aspects of picture composition or technical aspects.

Given that all of my pictures show nudity I am of course well aware of, and prepared for, the fact that most comments will be sexual in nature. I don’t mind that at all—frankly, I’m often more than happy to reply and play along. I have my own fantasies and often indulge in those when replying, and I know that I can be quite promiscuous in my answers (especially with certain responses to more explicit butt shots). But please understand that there is a clear line between fantasy and reality—I’m on Flickr to share my photographs, NOT to find dates! I will draw a firm line when someone asks to meet up with me. If that option were to arise it would be for joint photography projects (which is what Flickr is about, after all), but not for sexual hookups. If I have blown you off when you asked to meet me in person don’t take it as a rebuke--it means that I really enjoy chatting with you, and let's just keep it that way

• messaging: if you want to message, message me on Flickr mail. If we get along well I'll send you my email address. Yup, email.

• privacy: I'm happy to discuss photography and nudity. What I will not discuss publicly is aspects of my work, my private life, relationship status, and my location. We all have lives that we need to protect (and I couldn’t post the kind of pictures in my photostream if everyone knew my exact whereabouts). So please do NOT comment on my location even if you recognize it (I routinely remove such comments). If you feel the specific need to follow it up send me a personal note via Flickr mail.

• following and being followed: I don't follow many others automatically,. Don't be offended if I don't reciprocate right away. I'm probably a bit of a narcissist that likes to put himself out, but doesn't feel the need for much consumption. More recently I have started adding others as contacts since I had to restrict some of my more salacious pictures to friends. If you would like to be added to that list please send me a note. I rarely ever say no, unless I have reasons that someone is trying to ghost me.

I'm unlikely to strike up a conversation myself, but will happily reply to comments and messages. Don't be shy!

• using my pictures for secondary artwork: I consider Flickr to be a collaborative community. In principle I have no objections soever if you want to use my pictures for sketching or drawing purposes--by all means, use them! If you post them on here (which I encourage) I'd appreciate a link to my profile or to the source image(s). As for digital modifications of my pictures--in principle I don't mind those either (such as building digital nudes with other guys in it). If you want to post them, however, I would appreciate if you let me know about it. It's uncomfortable to find my image embedded in other people's artwork and not know where it came from. I'm open to collaborative projects, so if you have something in mind feel free to contact me.

• reposting my pictures: [I may have to rethink somewhat what I am saying here given that my photostream is now restricted to friends only] I do retain the copyright for my pictures but I have relatively few objections against my pictures being reposted by others, whether on Flickr and elsewhere. If such repostings happen occasionally and generally are respectful or appreciative (and/or promoting nudity) I am fine with them. Candidly, I have enjoyed some of them when I found them (especially if there were positive or saucy comments to them). I normally just tag myself then and quietly enjoy the fact that someone likes my pictures enough enough to share them elsewhere (yup, enjoy—or should I get offended if someone likes my naked body enough to repost a picture of it?). I’ll draw a firm line when someone starts marketing my pictures as his own. This has rarely happened, but I have no qualms going after such attempts. And, needless to say, any reposting of my pictures as an act of "revenge porn" won't be tolerated either (thankfully, no one has done any such thing so far).

• acquiring my pictures: Some people have inquired if my pictures are available commercially. That’s a huge compliment, so thank you to everyone who stroke my ego. The answer is “no”—nude photography is my hobby and I am not interested in making money of it. If you are truly interested in having a picture of me hanging in your living room or bedroom I will give it to you for free. Please contact me by sending a message so that I can send you a high resolution version of it. The idea is really very flattering (and I'm likely to comply with such a request), but I would not want to commercialize it.

• group invitations: I appreciate invitations to post my pictures in groups, to invitations to join groups. But I am unwilling to do so if I cannot preview a group--if I get an error message when clicking at the link I will decline the invitation. I have also been denied membership in groups for which I was invited to submit pictures .... quite obviously, get lost!

I will join and post in groups that have clear guidelines. What I am NOT willing to do is to submit my pictures to an administrator’s mood or ego. If my pictures get rejected on a regular basis even if conforming to the group rules I will leave the group. A group is a community effort that reflects many ideas, not some altar to feed the fetish of one individual (that what faves and galleries can be about).

• age restrictions: I am well over 18 (which should be obvious), and my pictures are intended for an adult audience. If you are under 18 (or 21 where applicable) please do not access my pictures since all of them show non-sexual or sexual nudity. I'm not suggesting that people under 18/21 will go blind from seeing a naked person, but the law it the law.
