The Dover Steam Show is an annual event that takes place the third full weekend in August, it has been going on for 46 years. This years show will be August 20, 21, 22, 2010. This years feature will be International Harvester Tractors and Equipment and Russell Steam Engines and Equipment. We have steam traction engines, antique tractors, farm engines(hit & miss), stationary steam & models, garden tractors and the flea market and crafts area.

The weekend is full of activity, from the Friday night Antique Tractor Pull, the Saturday afternoon Tractor Square Dance to the Sunday afternoon Parade. Steam Engines out working and playing all weekend, at the Sawmill, the grain threshing, baling areas to the power eater and fan areas, you have the chance to see these magnificent machines doing some of the things they where designed to do. You will be ale to talk to the owners, who are always happy to tell you about their piece of history.

We attempt to help the public understand about our rich history and the place these machines had in that part of our past. How they made the lives of our ancestors better, eased the everyday burden of hard physical labor by mechanization.

Thank You for stopping by, we hope to see you at the Dover Steam Show.

I am Rick Logan, the historian of The Dover Steam Show.

This started as a project to save the images and memories of years past, but has turned into a quest to make a place where memories can be shared and pasted on. A lot of the people in these photographs are no longer with us in body, but through pictures and memories they will live forever...

I need the help of anyone who ever took a picture at The Dover Steam Show or anyone who knew any of these people to contact me and tell me what they know or share there pictures with me and the world. I can be contacted at doversteamshow@yahoo.com..

Thank You
