Well hi there. I'm an anthropologist, a musician and an occasional photographer that especially enjoys macro and landscape. I also hope to shoot portraits one day...

All "critter macros" are shot in-situ, where and when I observe them. (That means, of course, no staged shots of dead or refrigerated insects.)

Note: I upload photos here at a about 20-25% of the resolution of the original shot, and these uploads are almost all under a Creative Commons license. Please contact me to discuss terms if you would like to license the original, full resolution shot under a different license.
