I love to take pictures. I grew up with the smell of darkroom chemicals.
My first camera was a Praktica I was bought by my dad for my birthday - I was 13. As the years went by I stopped taking shots and never bothered when the world went digital!
In 2011 I started to use a camera again - I shoot in digital - in 2011/12 a Sony NEX5 (18-55, 16mm, fisheye, 50 mm Yashica manual lens) then a Nikon D5100 (18-70, 70 - 300, 50mm f1.8 G) then, a Canon 5D Mark 2 (50mm 1.8, 24-70L, 70-200 IIL) then 2 x Canon 5DMkiii's (24-70 2.8L, 70-200 2.8L, 50 1.2L, 85 1.4, 35 f2, 100mm f2 L, a Fuji X100, fuji x100T, Fuji XT1, Fuji pro 2 x 2 (18mm f2, 35mm 1.4, 35mm f2, 23mm f2, 50mm f2, 56mm 1.2, 90mm f2) , Fuji XT3 (18 f2, 23 f2, 35 1.4, 50 f2, 56 f1.2), Leica M240 (35 and 50 summicron) and back to film with a new (old) Praktica MTL5 taking me back to when I was 13 (50mm 1.8)!
I now mainly shoot photos with the only digital camera I have, a Ricoh GRIII (28mm equiv).
I have discovered a love for photographing people and love to wander the streets meeting new people and taking their photographs.
Aside from photo me I love my family (married with 4 awesome kids), I work within the local government in education and love running!
