Douglas is very skilful photographer of Scotland. I've admired his photos for a long time. They shows wonderful and exceptional landscapes of the west Scotland. They were food for my longing for Scotland. They are so impressive and strong that I soon decided to visit Scotland by myself. So I did it on this September. And now I must express my thanks to Douglas who helped me in the decision where to go. His itinerary was very helpful and brought me to the places of great beauty. Doug was one of my first contacts on Flickr, nearly a year ago, and it wasn't long before i discovered that we shared a common passion, that passion being Wester Ross and Sutherland, especially the Coigach and Assynt areas. Needless to say i rapidly became a regular visitor to his photostream. Dougs beautiful images of the Coigach & Inverpolly hils, lochs and surrounding landscape are truely inspiring, and his knowledge of the area is second to none. Doug also has some wonderful images of other Wester Ross areas such as Gairloch, Loch Maree, Applecross and Torridon, not forgetting Skye, a must see! Thanks for sharing Doug. Gordie :-)
