I'm silly, cranky, honest, obstinate, blunt, curious, bald, joyous, protective, stubborn, realistic and silly.
It`s not the bike, it`s the rider. It`s not the camera, it`s the photographer.

I must make the announcement. For the sake of all who so kindly ask me to join groups, I must let you know the fool that you have solicited. I like to take pictures. I like to post pictures. I like to look at other peoples pictures, but not much more.
Joining clubs is a big American phenomenon. There are; gun clubs, bike clubs, golf clubs, peanuckle and bridge clubs, camera clubs...we have beer drinking clubs and clubs for people who collect collectibles and even the Association of Collecting Clubs. (Oh my!)
Never interested me.
Don't see I'll be changing either.
Right now the beer club is on my list to join and quit.
I have made myself join some clubs in the past to be sociable AND...and I only last a few weeks or a month. I wasted every ones time by joining their club. I am in a club of one, The I Don't Join Clubs, Club.
I have been asked to join *many* groups here on Flickr. I feel bad if I do not join, so I join to not hurt anybodies feelings. Then I find I have no interest. Hopefully no one notices that I don't play well with others. Too much patting each other on the back. Too much time fiddling with moving pictures around. It is so nice to be invited, but I do not have what you in groups have, the thrill of being part of a group.
You may laugh, you may mock, but do not take it personally.

"Mr Hansen's photography is inspirational & spiritual. It is relaxing to see his photos after a long day. He is a benchmark."
I've come across his pictures just a few days ago. Could say, it was love at first sight: he is the ultimate master of the 4 c's: colors, composition, contrast, creativity... every single one... Where does he find such beautiful inspiring places? he's got very special eyes for these things! thanks for sharing!
bikebreath is to me one of the most amazing photographers I have come across on flickr. He deeply understands how to make use of the right framing as much as capturing interesting structures and textures. His colors are astonishing. Every time I visit his page it is a real pleasure to browse his pictures!
Doug's understanding of composition and his execution are second to none. It's always a treat to see what he's going to come up with next. He has managed to make Baltimore look like an interesting place, a remarkable accomplishment never to be repeated.
bikebreath is an uncompromising artistic visionary... just look at the images. Every day he finds fantastic graphic, bold, abstract, graphic designs, and compositions in scenes that most of us would walk right past. Every one of his photos is a lesson in artistic vision. Thanks for these great photos Doug!.
many people attempt and fall short of doing what this man does with EVERY photo. fantastic compositions. superb eye for color, contrast and balance. must be fun to be him walking down the street noticing all the awesomeness everywhere.
I must say, Doug's photostream is one of my "Fave of Faves"! He has a very consistent and solid style which I highly admire.
