I'm living my second life, and not online! :) In 2006, after struggling with chronic kidney disease for over 20 years, my kidney failed, and I went into dialysis. If I had been born 60 years earlier, I probably already be dead now.

After a few months, Izaak, gave me one of his kidneys, and now I am literally living my second life. Every day I thank for the good Lord for one more day!

While at UTK in the mid 80s, I felt called to the ministry. This calling/following led me to work in a multiracial, Pentecostal inner city ministry, a Catholic halfway house, a Quaker fellowship, and now I pastor a small community of Christians (Spring of Light) who are simply try to learn what it means to love.

For the last fifteen years, I've also worked with various business trying to explore new ideas, encourage creativity, explore new trends, and hopefully encourage a little community there as well.

I keep occasional spiritual reflections at Floydville and an assortment of other observations at Doug Watching.
