My favorite colors are pink (all shades), purple (all shades), green (all shades except neon lime), brown (i like dark brown best, but I like most shades in combination with pink), blue (all shades), yellow if it's not too bright, orange if it is not superbright, red also not too bright and in moderation, I like all kinds of gray and the natural color of linen. I'm not opposed to white as a background in quilting blocks, for mug rugs that would get used for tea or coffee it might not be such a good choice? I only like black when there is a little bit of it, I don't like black and red together.

Fabric preferences: I'm not too fond of so called batiks and realistically portrayed animals. I do like modern American quilting fabric, Japanese kawaii cute fabric, dots, checks, stripes, birds.

I love scrappy looking patchwork (not super coordinated), traditional piecing with modern fabric, little squares sewn together.
