Double S Posure is a father/son photography teamoriginally from North-Western Ontario. Both were born and raised in Balmertown, a small mining community, subsequently relocating to the Kawaartha Lakes area, after a nine year stint in Dryden.

They are avid, self-taught photographers. Stan Sr. received his first camera at the age of twelve and began a life long journey with the craft. Stan Jr. began at the age of eight but it took another fourteen years before he was seriously infected by the bite of the shutter bug.

Being long time residents of northwestern Ontario, they developed a love of the outdoors and an appreciation for the diversity provided by mother nature. Photography became a natural extension of their vision; a vehicle to capture what they see and a means to share those images with others.

Sometimes its the grand vista that moves them; at other times its just a small fraction of the whole. Beauty and nature surround us. All we have to do is stop, look, listen, feel and, above all, enjoy.
