Hello and welcome to doublelight.photography

Only in the lastfew years or so i have been experimenting with photography, and taking pictures on my Mobile phone and recently my HTC phone with a 5MP camera and a 4MP Canon digital camera.

I think photography is a good way of expression and letting others see life as it happens around you or around them, but from another angle.

I tend to experiment when taking pictures, and recently have been taking pictures in B&W and getting some stunning results, just from a simple setting on a mobile phone camera or standard camera can you get something that looks amazing or at least full of life and depth.

I have a strong passion for landscape photography, and my favourite photographer is Derry Brabs who has taken pictures and photos for Alfred Wainwright. However closer to home i'am a big fan of a photographer called "Lamar francois" i recomend a quick google search on this guy as his HDR pictures/photographs are superb.

Still i have been taking pictures for a couple of years but not really sharing them by the means of Flickr, so i have decided to use this medium in order to share them, as when my memory card(s) are full they tend to get put on an external HDD or put on the computer.

Anyway i shall stop talking, and allow you to look at my sets, and various shots that i have taken. I just do this as a hobby.
