Corinne Defer was born in Ile-de-France. her passion for the photography begins very young, livened up(led) by the discovery of the images of his father, craftsman photographer in reproduction of former ancient postcard. She made of the argentic photo black and white and with the edition lab N and B, then the digital technology replaced this activity.

The journeys and her meetings allowed her to assert themselves in her photographic work. The themes of her series are diversified, taken in various places of the globe, in various heights.

The show of the life and the nature offers her a number of varied subjects which she investigates without limit: the sea, the sky, The earth(ground), The street, The line, The human being … She loves people, to seize them in their environment. Choosing mostly to work in natural light.

She has a quite particular affinity for the image in black and white and the colorization of this last one.

Corinne Defer

Corinne Defer est née en Ile de France. Sa passion pour la photographie débute très jeune, animée par la découverte des images de son père, artisan photographe en reproduction de carte postale ancienne. Elle a fait de la photo argentique noir et blanc et du tirage labo N & B, puis le numérique a remplacé cette activité.

Les voyages et ses rencontres lui ont permis de s’affirmer dans son travail photographique. Les thèmes de ses séries sont diversifiés, prises à différents lieux du globe, à différentes altitudes.

Le spectacle de la vie et de la nature lui offre un nombre de sujets variés qu’elle explore sans limite : La mer, le ciel, La terre, La rue, La ligne, L’humain… Elle aime les gens, les saisir dans leur environnement. Choisissant le plus souvent de travailler en lumière naturelle .

Elle a une affinité toute particulière pour l’image en noir et blanc et la colorisation de cette dernière.

Capturer des images a toujours été une passion … Laisser des traces de notre passage, partager le plaisir de voir, d’imaginer…
