I am an old b&w film photographer (landscapes mostly -- big fan of Ansel Adams) slowly making my way into the digital age.

I tend to live vicariously through my camera -- whenever I see something that is interesting (which to me is just about everything), I'm more focused on capturing the perfect shot than I am on enjoying the moment. I figure I can either enjoy it now or -- if I can capture it successfully -- enjoy it any time I like.

I work as a software developer / web designer and have recenty become a Photoshop addict. I am not yet seeking treatment....
