I've been interested in photography since my teens, starting off with a Kodak 110 format film camera and then graduating to a secondhand Zenith EM SLR (this was possibly made out of old Russian tanks). I did a couple of courses and then took GCSE Photography at college. At university beer and women took the place of my interest, so from the ages of 18 to recently my mind was elsewhere... I picked up digital photography 3 years ago with a Panasonic FZ28 superzoom (fabulous camera!) and at Christmas 2011 my lovely wife gave me a Sony SLT A35.

I am currently finding my way with the Sony and having great fun doing so - I am also trying to remember everything I originally learned when I had my Zenith 25 years ago!
