I’ve known Mike for more than 21 years. Of course we didn’t speak to each other for 14 of them. It’s my fault. At art school, Mike was voted “most likely to succeed” and I was pegged as “most popular.” So you can see why I had to blow him off for a decade and a half. But now that we are pals again I can only say that, to me, he will always put the “I” in Mike and the “oh” in Monteiro.
