Dear Nikita, I’ve wanted to write you a testimonial since… well it feels like prehistoric! It is just impossible to find the right words to describe you, you’re simply too wonderful and I don’t think this tiny box of writings could ever do you justice. Gosh where do I even begin? Right, your photos! asdfghjkl unbelievable. I’ve started following your photostream during your 100 days project and it is truly an amazing journey to watch. You take photos from flowers and landscapes to portraits and objects – and all of them are so beautifully artful. I’d say that you see colours like no one else, because be it lightleak, black & white or natural, you always find the perfect edit for your photos! The way you balance the light and darkness in your photos is just incredibly inspiring, especially in how you use it convey a mood. If colours could speak, your photos would write novels after novels. You have such a unique way of editing that brings out the best in everything and it completely blows my mind sometimes. (And if what I’m writing makes no sense, yeap that would be why :P ) Ah don’t even get me started on your portraits. One word: pure honesty. Okay that was two, but just because two’s better than one (oh no I did not just quote a lyric *whistles casually*) and your photos definitely deserve more than two so that’s saying something! :) But seriously, you are SO good at capturing these little moments that tend to go by too swiftly to be noticed (heheh see what I did there? swift. :D) It could be a smile at its fullest, a look in one’s eyes, that instantaneous moment of joy, laughter, or pensiveness, you name it. You’re an amazing photographer Nikita, so please don’t you ever dare think otherwise. I wish you could see your photos through my eyes, then you’ll realise just how awe-inspiring they are – you are. And you know what? On top of how talented you are is what a beautiful person you TRULY are, inside and out. I’m sure anyone at all, that has met OR not met you, would absolutely agree. I’ve lost count the amount of times you’ve cheered me up, made me smile or laugh beyond belief. Your photo descriptions and expressions are simply hilarious. Your comments ALWAYS put a smile on my face. Photos are made with light, but you – yes you, the-kinda-crazy-wacky-but-nevertheless-awesome-girl – you are such a light! Thank you so, so much for always being there for me, at my highest and lowest of low. gah I can’t even express how grateful I am to have met you on here. I don’t even know when but you’re like one of my flickr best buddies on here – yeap, that’s Nikita for you, one moment stranger and the next you’ll be joking around like besties. like siriusly. (oh did I mention that she’s a potterhead too? yeap, she’s that awesome) Nikita, please never doubt yourself and your photos okay? Okay so i've barely talked to Nikitia at all but she's definitely already one of my favourite flickrites!
