I grew up watching my mom who was a Cake Decorator for years, my brother and I could not stand cake growing up because of being mom's personal tasters. I always swore I would never decorate cakes, one of those never say never cases I guess. Here I am many years later with my 2 boys being my personal cake tasters. Kinda funny how life works out. I love making cakes that are unique as well as cookies and gum paste figurines of animals and people. Its like those days of being a child and getting that can of fresh play doh and sitiing for hours just making things.I am in my own world when decorating cakes, it just takes me away.
