I'm a lifelong artist in many disciplines. My background in textiles,ceramics and faux finishes and mural painting can all be seen in my recent polymer clay work. I love to work with the sculptural quality of the clay and well as it's inherent flexability. After I find pleasing forms I look for finishes to complete them. Gilding, patinating, powders, marbleizing and patterns are all available to the polymer artist. I may be fairly new to this medium but I'm fascinated by the scope of work that can be achieved with it.
