Dondavid's art is honest in its entire approach. It is “honest” in that it does not seek to beautify his subjects to placate what the common denominator think is appropriate esthetics. He seeks to explore in insides, his own mind and imagination to offer the viewer what can very well be described as a “spiritual autobiography”—a world that is seen through the prism of the artist—which is a hundred times more valuable than churned out work done without heart, passion or imagination.
