Don was born in York but has lived in Perthshire for over 30 years. An enthusiastic photographer since his teens, who is largely self-taught, he has recently turned semi-professional, combining his love of wildlife with his talent for photography. He is interested in all aspects of nature, but he particularly enjoys photographing British birds in their natural environments. Although based in Scotland, he photographs wildlife in a diverse range of habitats all around the UK.
