Local guy with cameras living on the Oregon coast. I enjoy learning about the many types of photography. Landscape in all its variations is probably my favorite but I enjoy photographing flowers, leaves, people, and pretty much anything that will hold still long enough, and some things that don't. I have experimented with wildlife and want to continue to learn that area, too. This last Spring (2020) I engaged in a self-challenge to photograph and upload a photo every day that would bring a smile to somebody to hopefully give them a smile during all the negative news from the COVID pandemic. This turned into a study of flowers in my local area as they were the subjects I could get to during lockdown and extended from mid-March through mid-September.
