My name is Don Delaney. My home is in Edmonton Alberta, Canada.
I have been carving and painting birds for thirty years, and photographing them for the past 17 years.
I post my photos to share my love of birds. I try to post good quality shots and strive to become a better photographer.
For me the camera is the means to capture and share the beauty of birds and other living things.

He always goes the extra mile to describe his subjects and even carefully distinguishes identifying marks between nearly identical species. It's always a pleasure to see what Don has found to photograph, whether it is out in the field or standing in his bathtub, leaning out his window to get that special shot. Don is also a wonderful contact, lavishly praising his friends' efforts. I am always happy to see him visiting my photostream.
