I'm a veteran photographer. I photograph wildlife, gigs of blues, folk and similar performers. Other photographic interests are local events and some street photography particularly of Wellington buskers. Many wildlife images get recycled as illustrations for my Biology teaching.

I have been using it for a special project of documenting blues bands at the Hotel Bristol, Wellington, New Zealand.

I had used Pentax cameras for decades but at the start of 2020 I switched to Nikon to take advantage of the fuller range of modern full-frame lenses offered for the Nikon mount. The much better continuous auto focus of Nikon was another major reason.
