British guy living in Maryland, USA. I started life in the nature conservation sector but ended up as a museum/heritage professional with wider interest in the creative industries, especially photography. I've been taking photographs since 1980 on and off, both for work and for pleasure. Started with a Canon A-1 which I still own but now use a Canon EOS 600-D (though my Samsung Galaxy S6 phone camera is pretty good too).

Love landscapes, nature, and people as subjects but anything really and have enjoyed learning Photoshop. Still trying to take the perfect black and white!
