Dolly Georgantza

Born in the city of Larissa, Greece in 1981.

She studied Fine Arts in Italy achieving a diploma in painting, in the School of Fine Arts of Lecce (Accademia di Belle Arti di Lecce, Italia) in 2004.

She took several curses at the Photography Club of Larissa, in 2005 and she became a member of the Club participating in group exhibitions.

For 8 years she was teaching painting, drawing, visual arts and art history at the Art Studio of the Municipal Art Gallery G.I Katsigra (Larissa) and in Elementary and High Schools in Greece.

In Grez sur Loing (Fontaineblau), France she created an Artistic Greek Colony in 2009, with Sophie Batsis (business woman), Lucie Baudon (art manager-curator), Chloe Leray (artist) and Konstantinos Papargiris (artist), in order to promote the Greek culture and Greek artists too.

She created 2 murals in the Municipal Art Gallery of Gonni (Tembi’s Valley), Larissa in 2012 and she also curated the permanent exhibition of the Gallery, witch collection comes from the donation of Zisis and Christiane Papadimitriou, to the Municipality of Tembi.

She is an active member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece (E.E.T.E).
