I took up photography after retiring as a physician. I'm living in Shelby, NC USA.
I am on the web as Mellie Smith and as Cinsy. My name is Melanie Smith.
I will always be learning photography as I go - without formal training, but with serious, focused self generated learning using experience and study.
I enjoy art and I am always looking for ways to express myself through art. My previous experience was with music and guitar, but I've always enjoyed the visual arts as well.
My shots are done with a few Canon cameras and with various Canon lenses.
