- a retired guy who with his Nikon D750 likes large and small adventures - I photograph landscapes, wildlife, birds, and local fauna.

I'm old enough that my life long photo adventure started with a Kodak Brownie. On a 1956 family adventure to Watkins Glen, with my trusty Brownie, I was introduced to the world of out the door photography..

Later my Dad got me a Konica and then a Minolta 35 MM SRL. With the advent of children (five) and the demands of the job, my photo shoots centered on the family.

As the children went out on their own, my shooting world expanded until in retirement it blossomed. I treated myself to a Nikon D40. Several times I traded up and now shoot the D750.

As I look at my life, I am most fortunate, blessed really, to be able to get out into and enjoy the "wild" areas of our remarkable country. I record on digital images some of the wonder I experience.

I post a weekly email that features one of my photos together with a thought.
