Palaeozoic New Zealander, living in Kaunas, Lietuva-Lithuania since 2006.

I bought my first camera in 1959, a Fujica 35 ML, when 15. I bought what could be my last - Kiwis are realists - a Fujifilm XE4, two years ago.

I am a Humanist. As a former pedagogue, people are the centre of my universe and remain so. Indulging in Street Photography is a manifestation of one of my primary interests

Mencius wrote about education: "Encourage them; led them on; rectify them; straighten them; help them; give them wings:- thus causing them to become possessors of themselves."

My avatar reminds me winter is around the corner and Lithuanian Brass Monkey weather is real but unwelcome.

Despite that, 'Cheers from Kaunas!'
