Long term photographer that is still learning and has a lot more to learn.

I spent forty years working in jobs that kept me indoors eight to ten hours a day. Now that I have dialed it back a bit, I am enjoying getting outdoors and recording the light or lack of light.

I use and have used single lense reflex cameras since 1970. But I must admit there are times I have second thoughts when my wife grabs her Canon Powershot S3 and gets the picture while I am changing lenses. The S3 gives her a focal length range of 28 - 450 mm (35mm equivalent)

2016 Update:

My backup camera is a Canon G1X that fits in a jacket pocket, has a limited zoom and has a large sensor for point and shoot or fixed lens camera.

My enhanced camera is an Olympus OM-D E-M1 with the following lenses:

- 70-300 4/3 lens with an adapter.
