Hey my name is Dave Murray, by day I am a staff nurse who works at the local hospital. The rest of the time I am a keen photographer, who is interested in just about any style of photography from abstract to portrait.
I first found out I was interested in photography when i picked up my first digital camera my sony DSC-P72, which I still have. This interest was fueled by my uncles real interest in architectural photography, and found myself checking out his flickr page a few times a week to see where he had been and what photos he had taken.
I kinda got the buzz for photography again when the instagram scene came round, and there was a quick way to take pics on your phone and upload them for all to see at the flick of a screen. With camera phone photography there were real limits to what could be done and I was always seeking the next big thing.

I got really obsessed with all things photography when I got my first DSLR camera for my 30th birthday, my trusty old Nikon d3100, well as my wife keeps reminding me it was meant for my 30th birthday but I got it 6 months early, which got me hooked.
My addiction to photography and digital imaging needed fed every few weeks when I would buy a new piece of kit from a filter to a lens. At one point I had a full studio setup, strobes and backdrops, but soon fell out of love with studio photography and it started feeling like a chore. So I sold my studio kit and bought a 70-300mm lens which got me back out into the big bad world, where I fell back in love with the arty side of my photography which in turn led me to upgrading my camera to a Nikon d7000, then I got a drone, enough said......
