Born in Miami, Donald McPherson moved to Europe to pursue a career in

fashion photography. His European success, his great sense of fashion,

humor, and a vibrant use of color propelled him to New York, where he became

a contributor to high-end fashion magazines such as American Harper・

Bazaar, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Visionaire, V, New York Times Magazine,

GQ, Zoo, Russian, French, German and Brazilian Vogue as well as Vogue

Nippon. Donald・ high profile clients include Valentino, Lacoste, Barney・,

Max Mara, Paul Smith, Levi・, Hanes, Estee Lauder, Fila, Canon, Sony, Saks

Fifth Avenue, Target, and Lux.

Donald has worked with numerous celebrities, including David Bowie, Beastie

Boys, Gwen Stefani, Ashton Kutcher, Matthew Modine, Grace Jones, Duchess of

York, Jason Schwartzman, Adrian Brody, Sophie Dahl, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Tribe

Called Quest, Tom Cruise, Carolina Herrera, Fisher Spooner, Chingy, Hanson,

His images have spurred interest and have inspired such fashion icons as
