I am a broadcast engineer and I enjoy working with high power transmitters and high voltage.

Another thing that I like is steam. I do not own any live steam engines--yet but I enjoy going to shows.

I am experimenting with building a a clock based around a Basic Stamp II. A little overkill but it is for educational/self enjoyment. I am doing it in stages. Now it is using 7 segment LED's. Then next stage will use Numitrons. The last stage will use Nixie tubes. This all has been done before but I am learning a lot and having fun.
