I was born in London, moved to Rayleigh, Essex when I was almost four and then to the U.S. (we moved with our next door neighbors) when I was ten. Lived in Connecticut until I was twenty and then did various traveling around until landing in Vermont. I live in a very small town and work in an even smaller one. I was involved with alternative education for many years but now work as a librarian. I love my job.

I am married and have four boys.

Photography has been an interest for a long time but I have often had fairly crappy cameras. I have a small collection of pre-1930 pictures of children that I started as a teen but other photos have come into my possession through family. I'm looking forward to posting those - there's SO many of them and it will be great to share them all. Flickr is wonderful!
