PICTURES USAGE RULES AND GUIDELINES

The legal license of my pictures is called CC ATTRIBUTION AND NO DERIVATIONS

 

These are rules to follow to be compliant with this license.

 

should you not comply with my rules you will be legally guilty of abuse toward my person

  

1) OWNERSHIP OF THE PICTURES

Do what you want with my pictures in respect of my license WITHOUT ceasing them like you were the author. I am the only author and the only person authorized to declare the license, which is the following CC license Attr.No. Deriv

Specifically, if someone asks about my pictures please redirect him to my gallery so that HE CAN PERSONALLY VIEW AND AGREE with my license type before using them

 

2) REPORT MY NAME

As per license CC Attrib.No.Deriv. you must report my name as per these condition:

 

**Rules for electronic use (websites or blogs)**

Please do the following points, or at least the point number 2:

 

1- make the photo clickable to redirect the user to my original picture page

 

2- put MY NAME near the photo and, only in case of blog or website, put it in a clickable way so that a user will be redirected to my blog www.TravelJo.com if he clicks on the name

**Rules for print as canvas**

In case you want to print my pictures, as per license CC Attrib.No.Deriv. they must contain my name in the bottom right corner.

So, if you want to do it,write me, and i will send you a bigger and better resolution version of the picture with a middle transparent and little signature in the bottom right corner

 

**Rules for print as newsp. or magazine, flyers or postcards**

Please always report my credits near the picture or in case you can't, at least in a credit section by motivating me the reason by email, or specifically in the case of postcards, at least in the back side

 

**Rules for any other type of usage**

Please ask me specifically by email before use them

 

3) DO NOT UPLOAD THEM ON THE FOLLOWING WEBSITES

A user, before usage, must see the license type, agree with it and respect it, which is CC Attrib.No.Deriv. So to download and use my pictures he has to use my gallery and not any other website like the following where these informations are not available:

-- desktop wallpapers websites

-- gallery websites like, Flickr, -- Panoramio, Picasa etc...

-- stock photo selling websites like IStock, Fotolia etc...

-- file storage websites like, --Rapidshare, megaupload etc..

 

4) LIST OF MODIFICATION I ALLOW

As per CC license Attr.No. Deriv, no modification are allowed except the following:

-- remove the flickr white frame already containing my name as long as you report my signature in a different way as per rule 2 and rule 3

-- resize/crop the pictures to fit your website format and size requirements, as long as you report my signature beneath them as per rule 2 and rule 3

- put text on them like you want

-crop them to use as banner as long as you report my signature beneath them as per rule 2 and rule 3

If you need other type of modification please write me to let me know

 

5) SEND ME A MESSAGE IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBT

6) REDISTRIBUTION

DO NOT redistribute my picture with an explicit download function or explicit download instructions to save the picture on computer, which don't include the link to my gallery, my name, and my license type (CC license Attr.No.Deriv) as per rule 2 and rule 3

 

7) PAINTING MY PICTURES

You are free to paint my pictures but the final result must differ enough from my original picture (so the "realism" technique is not allowed) otherwise you are deriving something from my photos and this will be in conflict with my license CC license Attr.No. Deriv.

To be sure, please ask me by providing me some example works

 

8) DO NOT USE MY PICS IN COMPETITIONS

Do not use in anyway my pictures as entries for challenges, competitions and so on by impersonating me and figuring like you were the author of the picture which is in coflict with my license CC license Attr.No. Deriv

 

9) CHARITY DONATION (optional)

Please, in change of my free photo usage i would invite you to make a charity donation for poor kids and people from Third World Countries...(you are free to decide the amount.)

You can even donate them to a poor man on a street and tell me, it's ok. You don't need to donate them necessarily to a particular association
