Here I am, just past the milestone of thirty, reconciling past mistakes and beginning the arduous process of healing. I live a happy, quasi-domestic life of full-time geekery with my beautiful autistic daughter and this sexy boy who moved his bed into my house one day and hasn't left since. I have a penchant for striped toe socks, Highway 11, and the Gopher protocol. I love mountains, Appalachian culture, folklore, literature (I earned my MA in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing), road trips, driving, and Doctor Who. I am, right now, living the life I've always wanted. And I am grateful every day for the chances I've been blessed with.
