FEB 2025: I purchased a brand new NIKON Z 50II TWO KIT LENS to replace my NIKON 1 J5 camera because it was malfunctioning and it would cost more to fix it, so decided to buy the NIKON Z 50II. It is not as small and light like the NIKON 1 J5, but it will do. I also purchased the NIKON F ADAPTER to be able to use my other F MOUNT lenses.

 

MARCH 2023: I purchased a brand new NIKON D850. I also purchased two new FX lenses for the camera. I have been using this camera since APRIL 2023.

I have a great passion for photography for many years. It is one of my favorite hobbies. I love taking pictures and seeing the results of God's great creations. I first started photography lessons in High School and learned about how to process black & white pictures. We learned how to develop film negatives and how to use enlargers (old fashion way) to print the pictures. During my last year of high school, the photography instructor taught us how to develop pictures and print using the enlargers from color negatives.

 

While working for United Airlines I traveled to the Hawaiian Islands about 25 plus times. I photographed the islands (Kauai, Big Island, Oahu and Maui) using a Nikon F2 SLR 35mm Film camera with prime lenses. When I got married, we traveled to the Tahitian Islands on our Honeymoon. After a few years later we traveled to Australia 1988 and New Zealand 1989. We have been back to Hawaii for our 25th Anniversary (Maui 2007) and then Kauai 2008 and the Big Island in 2012. Recently our last trip was in May 2017 back to Oahu after more than 25 years.

 

I now use NIKON D850 and NIKONZ Z 50II for taking pictures. I also use my NIKON D500 which is great camera. I have owned many cameras such as NIKON D300, SONY 2 MP (My first digital camera), Olympus C8080 and many small point-and-shoot cameras. The best camera I have owned is the NIKON D850, NIKON D500, NIKON Z50II and the NIKON 1 J5 (which has been malfunctioning, I miss it because it took great pictures, but I am not able to depend on it). I used to have a NIKKORMAT a great camera at one time.
