My name is Jen Mathias and I’m a licensed Hairstylist, Colorist, Make Up Artist and Skin Care Specialist with over 9 years of experience. I currently own and operate D'Jin Salon in Durham, NC.

MY BIO:

After receiving my Cosmetology License, I started my career as a Skin Care Consultant. While working as a Consultant, I began advanced training in hair color and cutting techniques. After my training, I started working as a Master Colorist at one of the most prestigious salons in the area. During my time working behind the chair, I’ve become an accomplished make up artist and worked as an educator for local salons.

Currently, I own a hair salon called D’Jin Salon in Durham. Owning my own salon gives me the freedom to travel as an Independent Beauty Consultant.

I’m experienced in working on large projects such as magazines, films, and T.V. I’ve also participated in many promotional events, marketing events, and fashion shows.

My work has earned me several awards and certificates of achievement.
