Diyosa's Icon, with that little smirk, is a perfect harbinger of what is to come if one explores her photostream. Her photos are brilliant. Mostly of her children, but capturing that perfect moment when one or the other (or both) know they have Mom right where they want her. This lady and her children have provided me with a different world than what I became aware of. I love this stuff. It's funny, yet makes me think. I often think back to my own experiences as a father figure and realize that I was completely manipulated. How great is that?

This testimonial is looooooong overdue. Diyosa and I both joined Flickr in early 2005. We both started out in several of the same Flickr groups...i.e. Score Me groups. Our photography wasn't very good back then, but we've steadily improved over the years...her more so than me. :D I had the pleasure of meeting her and her adorable kids last year. She's every bit as cool as I imagined. She is one of my inspirations when it comes to photography....as I strive to improve my pictures whenever I see hers. We shoot the shiz regularly. I consider her a good friend. I'd love to have her as a neighbor(inside joke). ;)

Diyosa, with "She Rocks Tough and Stuff", was the first child photographer that I ever saw brave Delete Me. The fearlessness of that move, and the quality of that shot, got me following her stream, and I haven't stopped. She's just an ace photographer and person, and she goes out of her way to organize mixrs and turn virtual acquaintances into real ones. She continues to push the envelope -- always opening my eyes to new PS actions and such -- all while raising two kids under 4 years old. I'm thinking superhero.
