A medical doctor and ordained minister in the Church of England. Former campaigner (successfully) for the release of specific prisoners of conscience in Soviet Russia and (again I am glad to say - with success) for a peace settlement and referendum in Sudan.

Everything matters: God cares about everything and every person in the world and we should too! It is our calling and I expect to see some wonderful things happen.

I am passionate about helping Britain to realise that we are needed on the world scene. There is a lot to do to make the world a better place and if we were seriously committed to such a job together, we could (a) make a significant impression for good in the world and (b) be a lot happier and more productive and more united at home.

Banking A crucial concern is correcting the banking system so that our money supply is created by a public body - the Bank of England - as a national asset and deployed for the public good, instead of it being created (as at present) as a debt to the self-interested commercial banks and deployed into house prices which serves on good purpose and induces a house price bubble.

I also plan to save the NHS from becoming a commercial business which would exclude many people.

Also to have national infrastructure in national ownership and administration. We have gone too far towards commerce doing everything.

I want British business to thrive, doing good service for export customers and thereby enabling our nation to earn its living.

So I founded the Common Good party and would be most grateful if you would consider taking various actions that I advocate in many fields as detailed on our website. (currently being updated).
