I’m Tony Webster, a photojournalist in the United States. For over 20 years, I have photographed nature, wildlife, political events, sports, civil unrest, live theater productions, and more. One of my focus areas is the conflict between industry and the environment. You can often find me wandering the mountains of Wyoming. I primarily shoot with the Sony α7R V, Sony α1, and Fujifilm GFX 100S. The gear I use most often: Really Right Stuff tripod, Breakthrough NDs, and Peak Design everything.
Send licensing and custom work inquiries to tony@tonywebsterphoto.com and please put in the subject line how quickly you need a response based on your project needs. I am often traveling, but I will try to respond as soon as I can.
Disclaimer: I'm an artist and journalist. Just because I have created a photograph does not mean I agree with statements made in the image. I have created photographs of events and civil unrest from across the political spectrum, including messages I strongly disagree with. To be clear, there are some abhorrent views on some protest signs in some of my images, and I do not endorse that—but it’s journalism to preserve that moment of history, and censorship dooms us all. Any views or opinions expressed or presented in my work do not necessarily represent the views of my clients, employers, or any institutions I am affiliated with.
