I retired from IBM after 10 years of working on real big mainframes. My experience goes back to the days of tubes and components you could see. How things have changed, remembering when IBM introduced the 1401, it's first real large scale marketed machine using transistors. A large machine came with 16k of core memory.

When I left IBM I started a retail jewelry store. Thirty years as a Jeweler to the stars in Woodstock NY, everybody from movie stars to the top rock musicians.

In my spare time I became a volunteer advanced EMT on the Woodstock rescue squad, part of the Woodstock fire department. Everybody should give back to the community ware they live.

With a long love of photography I only needed a small monetary incentive to get into photojournalism. For the last 10 years I have done photography as a freelance photojournalist.. My work has been in a number of newspapers, magazines, AP,and websites.

Diving has been a hobby for 20 years, it's probably one of the most enjoyable things I have ever done.
