I'm glad you're interested in my photos.

I mainly do street photography and on this site I do it in black and white.

I use different cameras, but in the end the equipment only plays a minor role.

I think that too much emphasis is placed on the technology, light, composition and perspective are much more important.

Of course, that also depends on the subject, because a sports photographer, landscape photographer or portrait photographer needs the appropriate equipment, for example.

In street photography, the equipment is not quite as important, it's more about recognizing scenes/situations and capturing them.

You only have one chance, because the next moment the situation no longer exists.

I think that's what makes this genre so appealing.

I appreciate constructive comments and an honest opinion.

What doesn't make me happy are people who only follow me so that I follow them.

For me it's about photography and not about collecting followers who don't really care about my photos.

I also think that there is far too much praise and too little constructive criticism on all photo platforms. You don't get better through praise, but through constructive criticism.

I only follow photographers whose photos I like, not so that they follow me.

So please don't follow me if you don't care about the photos.
