I am hooked on photography since 1984. For me photography is a way to explore creativity, to see our world with open eyes and to discover new perspectives. It started at age 16 and really picked up pace when digital cameras became available.

Gear that I use: Nikon DSLRs (D4/D700/D300/D200) and Nikkor Lenses (50 f/1.8, 85 f/1.8, 12-24 f/4, 17-55 f/2.8, 28-70 f/2.8, 18-200, 24-120, 28-300, 70-200 f/2.8) as well as some more pocketable cameras (Canon Powershot S70 and G7, Panasonic Lumix LX3, LX5, FT3, and iPhones).

Software that I use: Photoshop, Google Picasa, AutoPano Giga, Photomatix, Gimp, LucisArt

When I am not taking photos I work as the CEO of Paessler AG, a software company creating network monitoring software.
