Laid back South-African that enjoys sunshine and the great outdoors. Took up Digital Photography in 2004 with a point and shoot Nikon Coolpix and subsequently worked my way up to DSLR's. Trying to develop a better sense of style and eye for photography and enjoy looking back at things I have taken
My list of toys most commonly used:
Canon EOS 40D

Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens
Leica C-Lux2

More recently my Iphone.....apps are great!

Manfrotto 190XPROB Tripod with 322RC2 Heavy Duty Grip Ball Head
I actively encourage my friends with camera's to get out there and shoot as much as possible.
2008
My goal for 2008 was to just understand the basics better and my expectations was far exceeded with two web publications of my photo's for Schmap England
In their Second Edition: www.schmap.com/england/museums/p=595/i=595_4.jpg
In their Fifth Edition: www.schmap.com/london/shopping_markets/p=56249/i=56249_22...
An old friend also called up asking if he can use the HMS Belfast photo to celebrate his Dad's time on the ship doing a huge print of it
And then my top model of the year Bella the springer spaniel got published in "How to handle living with your dog" by shortstack publishing.

Managed to do a small corporate shoot of managers at work which was great experience and a taste of the stress and pressure that comes with this type of work.
2009
In 2009 very little progress after our first born arrived early January. My aim was to create a fantastic website and do loads of shooting which in the end did not happen to often due to time constraints and the usual excuses.
2010
Am I feeling lucky ..........punk......yes I do. More shooting this year and going to take noobs out for photo evenings helping them to get off the auto button.
Website + blog in progress albeit slowly....very.
Peace out!
