I've been a 30-something since 2004....at first, I was mortified at the idea of being in my 30's...that I was going to automatically turn into an old hag. But after a few Asahi's and a good hissy fit, I decided that not being in my 20's was no big whoop. I actually feel empowered.....I speak my mind more but with a bit more tact than in my younger years....I am slightly more disciplined, a little more clear-headed, wiser, and more importantly, I know not to sweat the small stuff (except when I am PMSing - I am such an emotional wreck then!). I like to travel and learn new things with my son, my little partner in crime. I like getting into anything that will allow me to be creative in some way and use my hands. I am learning how to do things around the house WITHOUT some hairy, sweaty man - a regular Bob Vila in the making - just without the beard (although there is no telling considering I am half-Italian). Once in a while I have my hissy fits, but overall my life is good. =)
