The challenges most African countries, including Cameroon are experiencing are more or less the consequence of:

•Ignorance of the laws,

•Abuse of the laws of the land,

•The publication of controversial or outdated laws

Whenever people are not informed of what the laws say in terms of their rights and duties, it becomes very difficult to make their voices heard. The immediate consequence is that those who are mandated to govern take advantage of this ignorance to perpetrate numerous forms of abuses and violations of human dignity.

Social instability, corruption, torture, under development, violation of liberty of expression etc; are just some examples of the characteristics of such a community.

Digitalizing Cameroon Laws (DCL) thus aims at, building the spirit of responsible citizenship in Cameroon by bringing the laws to the doorstep of each citizen”.
