Hi I'm Jon, AKA Digital Chemistry Photography

I've been into photography seriously since the end of December 2010. Prior to that I had a compact for a few months which I would point at things and press the shutter, not really thinking about what I was doing with it. I started to learn a few things and got a lot of good feedback from people, so bought a Fuji Bridge Camera, learned everything I could about it and photography in general, then 3 months later had outgrown it's limitations and upgraded to a Canon 400d.

Currently I have a few paying gigs doing night club photography and am doing as many model shoots as I can to try and build up my consistency, not to mention learning everything I can about how to use and abuse lighting. I'm trying to get into the "Strobist" mentality of figuring out how to get the light you want from what would be considered ghetto lighting setups.

My primary interests in models shoots are Goth, Fetish and Dark Non-nude erotica. Although I'm always up for shooting a nice model where there's opportunity for good results.

I also have an interest in architecture and cityscape, especially night shooting and HDR. This is also fuelling an interest in compositing work, which I am trying to feed back into my other photography interests.
