Hi, my name is Brandy and I am an amateur photographer by hobby. I do not claim my photos to be anywhere close to professional quality, but I do strive for the best possible photos. I own 3 different cameras in my photography--a point-and-shoot and 2 DSLRs. My P & S is an Olympus Tough Series. My DSLRs are the Canon EOS Rebel T3i (newest purchase) and a Canon EOS Rebel XTi. These are my babies and I"m spoiled by the photo quality. I have 5 lenses for it: the kit lens, 15-85mm 1:3.5-5.6, the "nifty fifty", a 70-300mm zoom, Tamron 90mm Macro lens, and an IS 50-250mm zoom. I also own the Canon Speedlite 580EX II. :-)

I miss all of my Flickr friends! I've been MIA too long...

Many things have changed since I last attended this page. I am now working with Bellevue University as an Academic Advisor (what I have been striving to get a position doing for quite some time). I had ACL reconstruction on my right knee in 2010. I have met the absolute LOVE of my life, Erik--we have been happily together for over 3 years now and the sky is the limit for us! We both know where we are heading and are in no rush to move through the "steps" in life (marriage will happen when the time is right for both of us). He is definitely a man's man and a redneck at heart. He is the best thing to ever happen to me and is my rock--so incredibly supportive!

I am going to try my best to revamp what I have to show in my photostream here. If you frequent my page, you may see some photos have gone "missing" and that is because I removed them due to personal preference. I hope to add new images and respark my creative outlet in photography. I have been busy focusing on other areas of my life and miss being behind the camera.

Please feel free to leave me constructive criticism and ideas/tips for improving my photographs! I am still a Photoshop Dummy and am trying to learn what I can (I only have Photoshop Elements and a lot of Photoshop speak is still gibberish unless it's shown to me). I will leave comments on your photos with/without criticisms, but I will always leave a compliment. I will also try hard to comment back if you leave me something!
