My name isn’t too important. In fact, it’s the thing about me that matters the least, I’d think. For the record, it’s posted at the top of this page, and you’ve found your way here, so I’m sure you can work it out. I was born in South London to Italian parents, but I fear that extended exposure to the UK has given me a penchant for tea, crumpets, postcards and the BBC Shipping Forecast.
I attended good Catholic schools in accordance with my parent’s wishes and learnt there that it’s not the label one carries, but the intent one has that matters. Some of the most wonderful people I know are Atheists. All of the biggest assholes are, too. I’ve lived in London for all but three years of my life. That gap was spent in Canterbury, Kent where I read for my Anthropology BSc and became a fancy-pants Liberal Arts/Science student with a beard.
I’ve since returned to London, and am now working for a Fortune 100, doing all manner of things from public facing support to internal system management. In my spare time, I enjoy travel, orchestral music, and (obviously) photography.
Although born here, and despite missing it initially, I would love to live in a major city elsewhere for a period of time. There is only so much one can take of London, and I’ve always got an urge to move. The US appeals, and on my visits back from 2006 to 2013, it felt like I’d found a home from home. I can’t wait to get back.
