Die Gestalt in German means shape or form. In English it has a much more complex meaning. It refers to wholeness as in when the whole is more than the sum of it's parts.

Every man needs a hobby. I've had many in my life. Martial arts (Okinawan Karate, Kung Fu. Arnis), writing (12 novels), Rifle and pistol marksmanship, and now photography.
