Hello!

I am a novice photographer aspiring to be a competent amateur! Can’t remember when I wasn’t interested in photography. I took classes in high school learning to work a dark room from developing film and prints. My first real camera was a fixed lens 35mm AGFA (man, do I wish I still had it), graduating to a Vivitar SLR. I had to set the photography aside to raise a family. By the time I was in a position to consider taking up the expense of film photography, I was experiencing the hereditary curse of "ET" (essential tremors) that turned photography into a futile effort.

Then along came digital, and after that, "image stabilization!" I bought the Canon S3 and whaddya know, stabilization it really worked! After more than half a century, I have a catalog of 100k photos, some dating back to the 70s.
